Rosa Goodman

Rosa read Art History and Italian at University College London before completing her Masters in Art History at Oxford University in 2013. She wrote her Masters dissertation on ‘Miraculous Madonnas in Renaissance Tuscany’ for which she received a distinction. Her special focus is Italian Renaissance sculpture and she particularly enjoys studying the intersections between art and ritual. She has spoken at many international conferences on the subject.

Alongside her work for Art History UK, Rosa guides across Italy and has worked with many museum educational departments, including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Wallace Collection and the Ashmolean Museum. Rosa also lectures and teaches in schools and is involved in a number of art historical outreach programmes, based in London and New York.

Rosa has worked for the V&A in London, the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence and has now returned to UCL to teach Art History. When she isn’t touring or in the archive you will find Rosa cycling around Europe in the pursuit of culture.
